Usually this is my go-to cafe but today maybe just an unlucky day for us.
Came in around 745am on a Sunday to do some early morning work session - the early vibe is great here. Unfortunately, the AC seems to be broken as it just gets hotter the longer I sit (Staff member turned on AC when I walked in).
Got Cherry Croffle and a Hibiscus Cold Brew. The Croffle has a funky, pungent flavour to it and I couldn't have the 2nd bite. The Hibiscus Cold Brew was way too sweet, couldn't have more than a couple sips, and I started to feel physically ill after around an hour of sitting there.
Had to go home to take meds.
I dont know what you did to that croffle but that aint it, man. And tone down the sugar + hibiscus level in the cold brew.
Dont get me wrong, this is a great spot, and easily my favorite place to do some work between morning gym & office time. And I have tried all their Cold Brew & Pastries. Just need better Quality Control on your ingredients and probably more frequent menu item reviews.
The cafe has a beautiful, luxurious space, delicious drinks, especially the peanut ice cream that no other cafe has. However, the staff swears a lot, I work near the staff counter and hear them swear many times without caring if the customers nearby can hear. The cafe is beautiful and luxurious, but it's a pity that they don't train their staff.
